Exact-model maintenance source · updated 29 August 2026

“Tuning” is not one universal kilometre number.

Atlas Honda's current petrol operation guides publish item-by-item maintenance charts. The exact model, odometer column and chart symbol determine whether a row is inspected, cleaned, replaced, adjusted or lubricated.

Exact model matrix

Periodic chart and free-service checkpoints are not interchangeable.

Important: the periodic chart organizes ongoing item-level maintenance. Free services are limited warranty-program checkpoints with time/odometer conditions. CG125 Self demonstrates why they must be read separately.

A milestone is a chart column, not a promise that every listed component will be replaced. The exact row symbol, notes, operating condition, current document, prior work and inspection finding remain controlling.

Read the source correctly

“Tuning” should become an itemized job card.

The operation guides define actions, not one vague package. Combined codes such as C-A mean more than one action at that row and column.

Rows can include more than engine work

Current charts cover fuel path, throttle, carburetor where applicable, air cleaner, spark plug, valve clearance, engine oil, filters, idle speed, drive chain, brakes, lighting, clutch, suspension, wheels/tyres, steering, fasteners and model-specific systems. The exact-model air-cleaner guide preserves every Inspect, Clean, Replace and blank cell plus the shorter unpaved-use route. The exact-model clutch guide maps the current 10–20 mm petrol range to the four short and five long clutch-system chart families without inventing a replacement kilometre. The exact-model valve-clearance guide maps all nine petrol Inspect rows and keeps the public chart separate from an unpublished numeric tappet setting. The exact-model carburetor and idle-speed guide keeps those rows separate, preserves every blank 1,000-km carburetor cell and refuses a guessed RPM or adjustment. The exact-model brake guide separates shoe wear, pad wear, system, switch and fluid rows and keeps hazard evidence ahead of the next column.

Condition can move work earlier

Dust, water, heavy use, repeated short operation, abnormal loss, wear, damage or a safety finding may require inspection or action before the next scheduled column. The table is not permission to ignore a developing fault.

Private next-milestone planner

Compare the current odometer with the latest completed chart column.

This planner runs only in your browser. It does not store or transmit the model or readings. It plans published petrol chart milestones, not calendar-based free-service eligibility.

Enter an official chart column, not the odometer of an unrelated repair or oil purchase. Use 0 only when no scheduled milestone has been completed.

Source-first workflow

Eight steps from odometer to a reviewable service record.

Identify the exact variant

Standard, Self and Gold can use different charts; ICON e is electric.

Open the current guide

Confirm the exact operation guide and any newer official revision.

Read the legend

Keep inspect, clean, replace, adjust and lubricate distinct.

Find the due column

Use the current reading and latest completed scheduled milestone.

Separate free service

Apply its own time/odometer conditions and warranty records.

Itemize the work

Record due rows, findings, recommendations and approvals.

Escalate safety issues

Do not wait for a milestone when condition may be unsafe.

Retain the record

Keep the date, odometer, job card, parts and next plan.

Boundaries that prevent bad maintenance

A kilometre result is not a diagnosis, quotation or warranty approval.

Do not replace by habit

A chart may say inspect or clean where a roadside “tuning package” assumes replacement. This includes the battery row: use the exact-model specification and test-before-replacement boundary. It includes air cleaners: use the exact I/C/R row and element-method boundary rather than a generic “filter change.” It also includes spark plugs: use the printed code, gap and separate Inspect/Replace actions. For the clutch system, use the published lever range, displayed Inspect cells and symptom boundaries; the chart does not publish automatic clutch-plate replacement. For valve clearance, use the displayed Inspect cells, cold-engine boundary and trained exact-model setting route; the public chart does not print one numeric clearance for all models. For brakes, use the separate shoe, pad, system, switch and fluid rows; Inspect is not an automatic replacement instruction. Confirm the exact row, condition, quoted part, application, price and authorization.

Do not postpone a fault

Leaks, warning indications, braking or steering change, tyre/wheel concern, abnormal noise, loss of control, electrical heat or damage require timely trained inspection regardless of the next column.

Do not transfer petrol rows to ICON e

Engine oil, carburetor, spark plug, petrol-engine air cleaner, petrol clutch, petrol strainer and petrol free-service language are not electric-motorcycle instructions. ICON e operation guidance identifies both hand levers as brakes. Obtain current battery, motor, controller, charger, brake, tyre and general inspection terms in writing.

Do not treat the planner as a service record

It stores nothing. Keep the actual job card, odometer, date, findings, installed parts, lubricant, approvals, invoice and warranty record through the applicable official route.

Safety: if a motorcycle may be unsafe to ride, do not use an online schedule to decide whether to continue. Stop or restrict operation as appropriate and arrange trained inspection or recovery.

Primary sources

Current exact-model documents, not copied universal advice.

The visible maintenance-chart pages and live model service/warranty panels were reviewed on 29 August 2026. A newer official document, certificate or written technical instruction controls.

Frequently asked questions

Service schedule and motorcycle tuning

After how many kilometres should an Atlas Honda motorcycle be tuned?

The current guides do not publish one universal row called “tuning.” They publish model-specific odometer columns and item-by-item actions. Use the exact chart rather than a guessed universal number.

What are the CD70 service schedule milestones?

The current chart shows 1,000, 3,000, 5,000, 7,000, 9,000 and 11,000 km columns and instructs the published spacing to repeat beyond the displayed range. Condition can require earlier attention.

Does standard CG125 use the same schedule as Self and Gold?

No. Standard CG125 shows the 1,000 then 3,000/5,000/7,000/9,000/11,000 pattern. Self and Gold show 1,000 then 4,000/8,000/12,000/16,000/20,000 km columns.

Are free services the same as the full maintenance schedule?

No. Free-service checkpoints are warranty-program milestones. The periodic chart continues item-by-item maintenance. CG125 Self has different periodic-chart and free-service milestone patterns.

What do I, C, R, A and L mean?

I means inspect, C clean, R replace, A adjust and L lubricate. A combined code means the listed actions apply at that chart position.

Does every service require new parts?

No. Inspect, clean, replace and adjust are different actions. Confirm the exact row, finding and itemized authorization before extra paid work.

Can I wait for the next kilometre if there is a fault?

No. A scheduled column does not postpone a warning, damage, leakage, abnormal noise or braking, steering, tyre, wheel, electrical or other safety concern.

What is the ICON e service schedule?

The current public electric guide reviewed here does not publish the petrol periodic table, and the live panel does not provide petrol-equivalent terms. Obtain the current written electric schedule.

Does the planner send my readings anywhere?

No. It runs in the browser, stores nothing and transmits nothing.

Does the result prove warranty coverage?

No. The current certificate, registration, recorded services, use, history, exclusions, inspection and Atlas Honda decision remain controlling.

Suspension condition boundary

Every displayed petrol checkpoint says Inspect—but symptoms do not wait.

The exact-model steering and suspension guide connects the published inspection rows with wobble, pulling, fork leakage, harshness, rear bounce, steering restriction, impact and recent work. A chart milestone does not postpone a control-safety decision.

Gear-control condition boundary

A shift or drive-control symptom does not wait for the next chart column.

The exact-model gear-shifting guide connects the current four-speed, five-speed and ICON e family with clutch, specified oil, final drive, lever, damage and recent-work evidence. A milestone does not postpone a stop-use or inspection decision.

Need a reviewable workshop route?

Bring the exact model, odometer and service record.

Ask for the due chart rows, condition findings, proposed parts or adjustments, itemized price and approval boundary to be recorded before work proceeds.

Electrical condition boundary

Lighting, signalling, protection and warning faults do not wait for a chart column.

Use the exact-model electrical and lighting guide to record the full failed group, operating state, fuse event, recent work, impact and water evidence. The schedule cannot postpone a visibility or warning-safety decision and does not authorize one guessed electrical replacement.

Engine-oil condition route

Condition evidence overrides the next scheduled milestone

An active oil leak, safety-surface contamination, significant loss or abnormal engine behavior needs inspection before the next calendar or kilometre checkpoint. Use the exact-model oil-leak and seepage guide to preserve the event and recent-work record.

Exhaust-smoke evidence route

Condition evidence overrides the next tuning milestone

Continuous smoke, significant oil loss, severe engine behavior or electric smoke evidence needs inspection before the next calendar or kilometre checkpoint. Use the exact-model exhaust-smoke guide to preserve the event instead of prescribing a generic tuning cure.

Need to report a bang or repeated popping accurately? Use the private exact-model evidence finder before the visit so the job record includes source direction, cold/warm state, throttle transition, control effect, warnings and recent work rather than a guessed replacement part.

Need to report weak pickup without a guessed repair? Use the private exact-model pickup finder so the service record includes same-bike baseline, engine/road response, gear, route/load, brake/tyre/chain evidence, warnings and recent work.

New motorcycle ownership

Keep running-in, first oil and free service as separate records

Use the exact-model running-in and first-service guide for the local petrol operation boundary, model-family oil checkpoint, earlier time-or-distance service deadline, completed oil and work record, and separate ICON e written route. Reaching a distance is not a repair finding or performance-test permission. Open the running-in and first-service guide.

Official spare-parts price reference

Check every product in the dated official online catalogue

Use the Atlas Honda genuine spare-parts price guide for all 13 products visible in the official category on 1 September 2026, their exact CD70 or CG125 application wording and a private inquiry-preparation tool. The PKR 140–3,550 displayed range is not a fitment, stock, labour, delivery or final-quote promise.

Rain and washing care

Use low-pressure water and route every post-water change safely

The Honda motorcycle washing, rain and water-care guide covers the official low-pressure wash sequence, hot-part, brake, chain, intake, exhaust and electrical boundaries, separate ICON e handling and a private exact-model exposure finder. Deep water, pressure washing, no-start, changed braking or an electrical warning is an inspection route—not a reason to repeat-start or road-test the motorcycle.

Long parking and safe restart

Plan before storage—and inspect before start or charge

Use the exact-model Honda motorcycle storage and restart guide to record duration and environment, then route fuel, battery and tyre evidence without a universal tank, charger, periodic-start or blind-restart shortcut. Honda ICON e remains on its separate electric-system path.

Buying a used Honda motorcycle

Verify records before money—and condition before price

Use the used Honda buying and pre-purchase inspection checklist to place official owner/vehicle/transfer evidence, maintenance and cold/static history, trained exact-model findings, lawful test-ride clearance and completed transfer ahead of a token or seller-led shortcut.

Run the exact-model Honda motorcycle pre-ride inspection before first movement. It checks tyre, brake, control, energy, fluid, final-drive and light or warning evidence, puts dangerous observations first, and keeps ICON e separate from petrol, engine-oil, clutch and chain instructions.

Throttle and accelerator-control evidence

Use the exact-model Atlas Honda throttle free-play and accelerator-control guide for the approximately 2–6 mm grip range verified in all nine current petrol guides, smooth return and steering-position checks, control-danger escalation and a separate non-numeric ICON e electric route.

Lighting inspection and parts evidence

Do not convert a service checkpoint into a universal bulb order.

The exact-model lighting matrix and private finder preserve printed wattage, LED and fuse fields while requiring current part and assembly fitment.

Exact-model ownership control

Ignition, key, steering lock or shutter question?

Use the current ten-model ignition-switch and steering-lock guide with private finder to distinguish separate, combined, shuttered and Honda ICON e power-switch controls. It supplies no bypass or forced-entry steps and requests no vehicle, key, address or location identifier.
