Exact-model spark plug reference

Match the full spark plug code—not only the gap.

The current Pakistan specifications publish different plug codes for CD70, Pridor, the CG125 family, CB125F and the 150-class models. The operation guides also separate inspection from replacement. Use the exact model, full printed code, gap and chart action together.

Direct answer

Which spark plug does an Atlas Honda motorcycle use?

It depends on the exact model and variant. CD70 and CD70 Dream print C7HSA at 0.6–0.7 mm; Pridor prints CR7HSA at 0.6–0.7 mm. The current CG125-family sheets print DP8EA-9 and DP7EA-9 at 0.8–0.9 mm; CB125F prints NGK DP8EA-9 at 0.8–0.9 mm. CG150 prints CPR8EA-9 and CB150F prints NGK CPR8EA-9, both at 0.8–0.9 mm. ICON e is electric and does not inherit a petrol-engine spark plug.

A shared gap is not compatibility proof. Preserve every code character and verify the exact part application, heat range, thread, reach, seat, resistor/projection details and current model/year source. A “better,” iridium or different-heat-range plug is not an automatic upgrade.

What the documents establish

Three boundaries prevent the common wrong answer.

I ≠ R

Inspection is not replacement

The charts use separate I and R actions. A blank 1,000-km spark-plug cell in the reviewed petrol charts is not an instruction to replace or adjust the plug.

5

Printed codes are not one family

C7HSA, CR7HSA, DP8EA-9, DP7EA-9 and CPR8EA-9 must remain exact. Similar numbers, shared gaps or seller labels do not prove interchangeability.

11k

The shorter chart ends at 11,000 km

CD70, Dream, Pridor and standard CG125 show their final displayed spark-plug action as Replace at 11,000 km. Use a current source beyond that view.

20k

The longer chart ends at 20,000 km

Self, Gold, CB125F, CG150 and CB150F show through an Inspect action at 20,000 km. The finder deliberately does not invent what follows.

Private chart finder

Find the exact code and the next displayed action.

Choose the exact model and enter the current odometer. The result runs entirely in this browser. It does not prove that an earlier action was completed and it does not diagnose an engine symptom.

Do not enter a CNIC, registration, chassis number, phone number, job-card number or other personal identifier here.

Exact-source workflow

Eight steps from model identity to a traceable record.

Identify the motorcycle

Record exact model, variant and year before discussing a plug.

Open both documents

Use the specification for code and gap and the operation guide for timing.

Record the complete code

Keep every printed letter, number and suffix; do not shorten it.

Read I and R separately

Inspect and Replace are different chart actions; a blank cell is neither.

Inspect condition competently

Check wear, deposits, damage and related ignition or engine evidence.

Match complete fitment

Verify application, heat range, thread, reach, seat, resistor and projection.

Use exact service instructions

Follow the model procedure and tightening specification; never guess force.

Keep the evidence

Retain code, date, odometer, action, findings, invoice and job card.

Symptoms are not diagnoses

Use a symptom to start an inspection—not to skip it.

Hard starting or no start

Honda identifies plug wear as one possible contributor, but fuel, air, compression, battery, cap, wiring, ignition and adjustment findings can overlap. Valve-clearance inspection is also a separate exact-model route: use the published tappet inspection checkpoints and symptom boundary without guessing a numeric setting. Carburetor and engine-idle-speed work is another separate route: use the exact-model chart actions and symptom finder rather than turning a screw from a starting symptom. Do not replace or adjust from one symptom alone.

Uneven running or weak response

Electrode wear or deposits may matter, but a plug's appearance is evidence within a wider diagnosis—not a complete remote verdict about mixture, engine condition or tune.

Fuel-economy decline

Honda includes declining fuel economy among reasons to inspect the plug. Tyres, chain, brakes, load, route, riding pattern, fuel and engine condition also influence consumption.

Cracked insulator or damaged thread

Stop improvised cleaning, bending or forced installation. A damaged plug, cap, lead, thread or seating area needs the current model procedure and competent inspection.

Work only within safe limits. Avoid spark-plug work on a hot engine, keep ignition hazards controlled, prevent dirt entering the opening and use the exact service procedure. This guide intentionally provides no guessed tightening torque or substitute-plug cross-reference.

Frequently asked questions

Spark plug code, gap and replacement answers.

What spark plug and gap does the current Atlas Honda CD70 use?

The current CD70 specification prints C7HSA and a 0.6–0.7 mm gap. Match the full exact-model part application rather than using gap alone.

Do CD70 and CD70 Dream use the same published spark plug code?

Their current specifications both print C7HSA with a 0.6–0.7 mm gap. The exact model, year, current document and complete part application still control.

What spark plug and gap does the current Pridor use?

The current Pridor specification prints CR7HSA and a 0.6–0.7 mm gap. Do not shorten it to the CD70 code.

Which spark plug codes are printed for the current CG125 family?

The current CG125, CG125 Self and CG125 Gold specification pages print DP8EA-9 and DP7EA-9 with a 0.8–0.9 mm gap. Verify which printed application applies to the exact motorcycle and context.

What spark plug and gap does the current CB125F use?

The current CB125F specification prints NGK DP8EA-9 and a 0.8–0.9 mm gap. Verify the complete current application before purchase or installation.

What spark plugs do the current CG150 and CB150F use?

CG150 prints CPR8EA-9 and CB150F prints NGK CPR8EA-9; both print a 0.8–0.9 mm gap. Verify the exact current model application.

When should an Atlas Honda motorcycle spark plug be replaced?

Use the exact chart. The reviewed shorter charts inspect at 3,000, 5,000, 7,000 and 9,000 km and replace at 11,000 km. The longer charts inspect at 4,000, replace at 8,000, inspect at 12,000, replace at 16,000 and inspect at 20,000 km. Do not project beyond the display without a current source.

Do hard starting or poor fuel economy prove the spark plug is faulty?

No. Those are reasons for inspection, not a diagnosis. Fuel, air, ignition, compression, adjustment and other conditions can overlap.

Can I fit an iridium or different heat-range plug as an upgrade?

Do not assume so. Honda says not every model can use an iridium plug and compatibility must come from the motorcycle manufacturer information.

Does the spark plug finder save or send my information?

No. It runs entirely in the browser, stores nothing and transmits nothing. It is not a diagnosis, fitment approval or instruction to work on a hot engine.

No-start overlap

A worn plug can contribute—but one symptom does not prove replacement.

First route the motorcycle through the exact kick, self-start or ICON e READY guide. Preserve the starter or kick response and exact-model evidence before inspecting ignition, fuel, intake, valve-clearance, compression or recent work.

Need an exact-model plug or ignition check?

Bring the motorcycle identity, odometer and service record.

Ask the parts or workshop team to record the complete plug code, exact application, chart action, gap and condition findings before work proceeds. Keep the invoice and job card with the next source-defined checkpoint.

Heat and smoke boundary

A plug appearance is evidence—not an overheating diagnosis.

Do not convert unusual heat, exhaust smoke or power loss into an automatic spark-plug, mixture or engine-repair verdict. Use the hazard-first air-cooled petrol versus ICON e route, then preserve the exact plug code, gap and chart action here for trained inspection.

Exhaust-smoke evidence route

Neither smoke nor plug colour proves one repair

Use the exhaust-smoke evidence guide to preserve the visible event and keep it separate from the exact plug code, gap and chart action. Do not turn two appearances into an automatic mixture, ring, valve or carburetor diagnosis.

Bang, silencer pop, stumble or ‘misfire’? Use the exact-model backfire and popping evidence guide to preserve start, idle, acceleration or deceleration timing while avoiding a sound-only carburetor, spark-plug, valve, mixture or exhaust diagnosis.

Weak pickup, hesitation or sudden power loss? Use the exact-model pickup and power-loss evidence guide to separate engine response from power transfer, final drive, rolling resistance and operating context before anyone guesses a fuel, ignition or engine part.

Official spare-parts price reference

Check every product in the dated official online catalogue

Use the Atlas Honda genuine spare-parts price guide for all 13 products visible in the official category on 1 September 2026, their exact CD70 or CG125 application wording and a private inquiry-preparation tool. The PKR 140–3,550 displayed range is not a fitment, stock, labour, delivery or final-quote promise.

Throttle and accelerator-control evidence

Use the exact-model Atlas Honda throttle free-play and accelerator-control guide for the approximately 2–6 mm grip range verified in all nine current petrol guides, smooth return and steering-position checks, control-danger escalation and a separate non-numeric ICON e electric route.

Do not read a plug as a complete fuel-quality test

Use the current petrol and octane guide for the exact 87-minimum source and pump evidence. Plug condition, starting, load, oil, air, ignition and recent work can overlap; a colour or deposit does not remotely prove low octane or contaminated petrol.
