Exact-model engine evidence
All nine current petrol operation-guide charts mark valve-clearance inspection, but the two chart families use different kilometre columns. The reviewed public guides do not publish one universal millimetre setting—and ICON e has no petrol-engine tappet route.
Direct answer
Use the current exact-model service specification—not a universal number. The reviewed Pakistan public operation guides mark when valve clearance is to be inspected, but do not print one numeric millimetre setting in the reviewed guides. CD70, Dream, Pridor and CG125 show Inspect at 1,000 through 11,000 km on their displayed 2,000-km-family columns. CG125 Self, Gold, CB125F, CG150 and CB150F show Inspect at 1,000 and the displayed 4,000 through 20,000 km columns.
“Inspect” is not “adjust every time.” The finding must come from the exact cold-condition measurement and current model service procedure. A sound, power complaint or chart symbol cannot supply the intake/exhaust value, engine position, lock-nut torque or completed-work verdict.

Honda's general guidance says clearance changes with engine temperature. Never turn a warm-engine guess into a model specification.
Ticking may justify inspection, but sound cannot establish intake/exhaust clearance or prove the source.
Do not transfer a value, torque or procedure from another Honda, another market, an old manual or a video.

Observation is not diagnosis
Honda's general guidance identifies excessive clearance as one possible noise route, but exhaust leakage, timing or cam-chain condition, lubrication, fasteners and internal engine issues can overlap. Record when, where and under what temperature/load it occurs.
Honda explains that little or no clearance can prevent a valve from closing and can cause power loss or damage. That is a boundary—not a remote diagnosis. Spark plug, fuel, intake, compression, oil and other engine causes still require separation.
Do not keep turning adjusters to chase a sound. Preserve the before/after complaint, cold measurement, exact service data, completed procedure, locking and recheck record, then arrange competent inspection.
Valve clearance, carburetor or idle, spark plug, air cleaner, oil, clutch and chain are distinct rows and findings. Use the separate carburetor and engine-idle-speed chart for that fuel-system route. One complaint should not trigger blind adjustment or replacement of every item.
Stop the engine for an urgent mechanical warning. Loud knocking, locking or seizure behavior, smoke, overheating, oil leakage near hot parts, burning smell or sudden major power loss can indicate a condition that should not be tested in traffic. Stop safely and arrange trained inspection or recovery.

Four short-chart models mark Inspect at 1/3/5/7/9/11k km. Five long-chart models mark Inspect at 1/4/8/12/16/20k km. Their reviewed public guides do not print one numeric valve-clearance setting.
Honda's official general guidance explains that excessive clearance can cause noise, while little or no clearance can prevent closing, cause power loss or damage, and that clearance changes as temperature rises. Its model-specific numbers are not transferred to Pakistan models.
